My son is now 9 months old and I still constantly think about my new title "dad" or "dada." Becoming a dad for me was very exciting as I was anticipating the perspective of Father (God). I knew what it was to be a son, but the fatherly perspective was a mystery. My son can do some things like crawl, clap, laugh, scream very loud, and other natural things a baby does. Yet none of his abilities cause me to love him. Because he is my son, I love him. I'm amazed that as much as I love my son, Father loves us even more. Today, I'm thankful for an earthly father that has loved me but most importantly my heavenly Father who teaches me daily how much he loves me.
